Hi World!

I'm Nate! I am a 15-year-old sock monkey. I used to be a movie star (I was in Disclosure). But then things went wrong and I ended up at a garage sale in Davenport, Iowa. Then I was rescued by a nice young architect and given to Marcia and Wendi in Minneapolis. Finally, I was adopted by my new dad. We used to live in Minnesota, but now we live in North Carolina. This is a scrapbook of my life since my dad Mike adopted me.

When I first came to Minneapolis, I was naked. Didn't I look young then? I think I look much older now. Before I came there I was very big in Hollywood.

Pretty soon Mike adopted me. It was the happiest day of my life (and I have lived for over 15 years). Since then I have gotten to do lots of fun things, like go on my first camping trip. Mike Buck taught me how to spit! (I'm the little one on the stool.)

Dad takes me to the cabin, too. Grandma and Grandpa play with me, and Dad taught me how to ride a horse!

(I had one very bad experience there, but the counseling has helped.)

I got to go to the reception, then the honeymoon, too! It was fun. I learned a lot of new things, but Wendi and Mike made me promise not to tell anyone so I won't.

This is one of the worst things that happened to me this year. It's cold in there. Why would someone put a boy in the freezer? I don't know why everyone doesn't love me like Mike and Marcia do.

It was fun for me to visit Marcia when she lived with Brenda. I got to play outside and help around the house. (I'm a good helper!)


Last summer I took a car trip. (I wore my seat belt the whole time.) Marcia let me navigate. In Chicago, my friend Pam gave me a backrub.

Then I went to Indiana to see Grandma Mary, Grandpa J.J., Foofie and Cousin Brenda.
It was a fun trip, but I missed my dad a lot.

I love holidays. Here I am on Halloween, going to see my friends Mike and Trina.

And this is me with Ralph the Reindeer. I have had lots of adventures in North Carolina, but I don't have photos of all of them. I will put more on sometime, though. Hi to all the other sock monkeys of the world! Please e-mail me and tell me how you like my page!
